A law making illegal immigrancy illegal? First of all, isn't that redundant? Second, why should they be punished for wanting to be in the "Land of Opportunity"? Try living in Latin America all your life, then hearing that there is a place where you can afford to eat every day. Ignorant idiots don't know the meaning of "through another's eyes", and it's turning this country into a biggoted nation of Nazis.
"I don't like history. Let's change it!" This is essentially what the Texas State Board of Education is doing with the Social Studies curriculum. And because textbooks in about 45 states are based on the Texas curriculum, they are, in essence, trying to make not only Texans ignorant, but kids nation-wide. Some of the things they want to do are to stop the teaching of the reasons for Separation of Church and State, downplay slavery, and over-emphasize contributions of the confederate states. It just shows that Texans aren't content being ignorant, they want EVERYBODY to be just as ignorant, if not more.
